First Rain is a soft, pure petrichor fragrance that brings the joy of the first monsoon shower straight to you. Our formulation activates natural molecules released when rain meets soil, which are known to trigger feel-good hormones and instantly lift your mood. One spray is enough to bring a smile to your face, spark calmness, warmth, and forgotten happy memories.
First Rain is an ancient craft bottled with care.
We create it using the age-old Deg & Bhapka distillation process, where the heart of the fragrance is mitti itself — the very clay that holds the scent of the first monsoon showers.
Each batch takes almost a month to make.
And it can only be produced during the dry months of the year, when the air carries no moisture, allowing the clay to bloom with true petrichor. This seasonality means First Rain is often limited and sells out — a natural rhythm we honour rather than fight.
Because this is a 100% natural fragrance, its beauty lies in its softness.
The molecule that creates petrichor is naturally very volatile, which means it lasts only 4–5 hours. We could add modern aroma molecules to extend longevity — but with them, the soul of First Rain disappears.
So we made a conscious choice: Purity over projection, Authenticity over enhancement, Joy over longevity.
First Rain is a scent you wear for yourself — intimate, grounding, and joy-giving. A quiet reminder of nature’s magic, captured the way nature intended.
